Harvest NOW Inc.
Taking the gospel to the nations..
Thailand’s new
beginning
Though a Buddhist country, in the recent years, the
number of Christians has increased dramatically because of bold
evangelism by local Thai believers. Through the years, God has helped
us start twelve Thai and Burmese churches in the Golden Triangle of
Northern Thailand. Early this year, Harvest NOW has begun supporting 10
orphans living in one of the orphanages in Northern Thailand. The
churches in Thailand continue to grow. Especially the young people have
taken a hold of their new found faith and are a constant witness of the
gospel to their friends.
Many times the Buddhist monks take the
children away from their families and bring them to the temples with a
promise for education. As soon as they arrive in the temples, their
heads are shaved and are made to be monks at the early age of 4 or 5.
Girls are taken in or sold for prostitution
and other exploitation. Why do these children have to live with such
fear and injustice? We as God’s people can do something about it.
Thousands of ethnic Hmong in northern Thailand have been evicted from
their homes, as part of a government plan to encourage them to return to
their native Laos.
Currently
Harvest NOW supports one of the tribal orphanages in northern Thailand.
Please pray with us for this project. Our dream is to support 1,000
children all over Asia. If you know of anyone who would like to help in
such project, please encourage him or her to contact us. With as little
as $25 a month, you can give life, hope and a future to these
children.
The church in Thailand has taken its
challenge to win their nation to Jesus. God is raising up a new
generation of young people who are sold out to God but they need
teaching, vision and mentoring. Harvest NOW is providing teaching,
finances, and support for local Thai churches.

How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and
how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how
shall they hear without a preacher? 15 And how shall they
preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the
feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings
of good things! Romans
