I am Nijamuddin. I am from the eastern part of India and of Muslim background. I tried to look for ways of salvation in Islam, yet I found nothing but hatred and sacrifices. My life was drowned in sicknesses and poverty, due to which I would bend towards illegal activities and get into trouble with the law.

Recently I met one of the pastors and missionary from Harvest NOW named Sarkar and he shared the Good News of Jesus Christ to me. I felt that there was something special in this man called “Jesus Christ”. I visited Pastor Sarkar regularly and learnt more about Jesus and God. My life was dramatically altered. I was now on track an my problems seemed to be very small before my living God Jesus Christ.

But accepting Christ has also brought many challenges in my life. My family disowned me and threw me out of the house.  The mosque calls me an  ‘Infidel’, a coward and a sinner. But my Jesus is above all of that. In Jesus I learnt to love everyone as my brothers and sisters.

In Christ Jesus I learnt to walk in truth, grace and peace. In Jesus I found total rest and happiness. I found my own true identity with God my Father and His son Jesus Christ. Please pray for me and my family so that we can grow more in Jesus Christ and follow Him with all of our lives. Pray also for our safety so that we can be His true disciples.
