Gospel to Europe

Germany – One of Europe’s Richest Nations.  After the Second World War Germany was divided in two; with the democratic Federal Republic on the west and the communist ‘Democratic’ Republic on the east. Germany’s capital was also cut in two – the Berlin Wall keeping east and west apart. The Berlin Wall came down in 1990 and the two states became ‘one’ Germany.  The cost of rebuilding East Germany has been high and unemployment has shot up in recent years but Germany remains one of Europe’s most powerful and richest countries.

The church is widely seen as irrelevant in today’s culture. Although 70% of Germans would call them Christians, only 45% believe in God and less than 10% go to church. While Christianity has become less popular New Age philosophies, the occult and Satanism are on the increase.

Guine’s trip was a great blessing to hundreds of young people in the Easter Youth Conference.  There were as many as 500 young people who came to these meetings every day.  They were challenged to surrender their lives to Jesus and live for Him.  To reach their generation!  God is raising up the young generation to be on fire for Jesus; to walk in the Holy Spirit and to make an impact in their towns and cities. 

This was Guine’s 7^th trip in the last 5 years and God has helped us build relationship among many pastors, leaders, churches and believers.  God continues to use us greatly to touch thousands of lives in Germany.  Please be praying with us so that the believers will stay united together to see God’s work in their regions.

In the year 1727 Count Zinzendorf started a non-stop prayer meeting in Saxony (Germany) everyone took an hour each and it kept going for an amazing 100 years! Today More than half of German Christians are over the age of 50.  Pray that churches can find new ways to reach and disciple young people.  Pray for unity, wisdom and greater understanding between young people and the church.

In Germany there is a significant move of God.  Many people are hungry for God and His presence and His Glory. Please pray for this Revival and move of God to spread all across Germany and from there to other parts of Europe.

This generation of Germans and all the people in Europe will experience the greatest move of God on the face of the earth.
